Hitler Youth Dagger & Scabbard
Engraved blade marked RZM M7/72 for Karl Rob (Solingen), the steel blade with etched motto 'Blut und Ehre!' and dated 1938, black chequered bakelite grips, steel black painted scabbard with leather belt strap attached, blade length 14cm, overall length 25cm
This item belonged to John Parker (1926 - 2020) who, whilst a school boy at King Edwards Aston Grammar School, purchased the knife on a school trip to Germany. He was evacuated in 1939 and joined the army in 1944.
